Missoula Work’s Get It Done Crew is comprised of people from various backgrounds. Several members are parents in the Family Promise Program, others are homeless individuals still searching for housing with the help of a Housing Advocate Network (HAN) volunteer, and some choose to be employed with us simply because they support our mission. All of them are seeking stable or increased employment, and they are grateful for the paychecks they earn through Get It Done. The Get It Done Crew offers and opportunity for individuals to earn income in a supportive and flexible work environment until permanent, full-time employment is secured. Last year, Get It Done helped 70 individuals find a temporary or permanent employment solution. While Get It Done projects are short-term (half-day, day, week), the quantity of jobs ensures that workers have flexible schedules so they can meet their other important obligations (child care, appointments, etc.) while still maintaining full working schedules.

In the summer of 2017, Get It Done was limited in the number of projects we could take on because of lack of equipment and transportation. However, this fall we received a generous donation to purchase a work truck, a riding lawn mower, a flatbed trailer, and a profusion of lawn and gardening tools. These contributions have allowed Get It Done to begin operating a full-service lawn crew, greatly expanding our ability to put people to work.

Missoula Works does not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status, in any of its activities or operations. All individuals undergo an extensive background and reference check.
